I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration from Catawba College in 2005. I am currently working to obtain my licensure from Appalachian State University.
EXPERIENCE:
This is my third year teaching. I joined the ATMS team in 2020 working with 7th and 8th graders in math. At the end of the 2020/2021 school year, I was transferred to Trinity Middle for the 2021/2022 school year to work with 8th graders in both math and language arts. I transferred to Trinity High School to work within my scope and background, which is business. I have 20 years of business experience that I hope will enhance my co-workers and students alike.
BIOGRAPHY:
I was born and raised in North Carolina. North Carolina is the only state I have lived in, although I have traveled quite a bit to other states. I have never traveled over seas, although I hope to do so one day. I am married and a mother of 2 children. I enjoying reading, kettlebell training, working with people and hanging out on the beach. I felt chosen for this profession. When I connect with children daily, my goal is to: meet them where they are, help them learn the material being covered, help them reach their goals and remind them of how important they are. In my opinion, doing all of these things is essential to their growth.
