Trinity Middle School was buzzing with energy and community spirit during its recent Parent Night and Interim Report Pickup, held on Thursday, September 25th. The event brought together students, families, teachers, and staff for an evening filled with academic support, helpful resources, and a little bit of fun.

Families were greeted by enthusiastic Beta Club students, who played an essential role throughout the evening — guiding visitors to classrooms, handing out flyers, and helping coordinate several activities. Their leadership and service were praised by parents and staff alike.

In the media center, Mrs. Hughes and a team of Beta Club volunteers provided hands-on support for families learning to navigate Infinite Campus, the school’s online platform for viewing grades and assignments. Parents appreciated the step-by-step assistance and many left feeling more confident in how to stay informed on their child’s academic progress at home.

Meanwhile, in the cafeteria, the PTO hosted a sign-up table and welcomed new parents interested in becoming more involved with school events and volunteer opportunities. Beta Club students assisted with passing out information and encouraging family engagement.

Another event of the evening was the AIG (Academically or Intellectually Gifted) presentation. Parents of AIG students were given a brief overview of the program and had the opportunity to sign their child’s Differentiated Education Plan (DEP) on-site. The presentation  provided valuable clarity on enrichment services available throughout the year.

To keep the night exciting for students, a Prize Wheel  — offered students a chance to win fun rewards such as Homework Passes, Extra Credit Passes, Hat Day Passes, and Home Game Passes. Each student received one ticket attached to their interim report, ensuring fairness and helping to manage the crowd.

Outside, families enjoyed delicious food and treats from two local favorites: Kona Ice and Latin Flavor food trucks, which added a festive touch to the event.

Trinity Middle School extends a heartfelt thank you to all parents and guardians who attended, and to the staff, Beta Club members, and community partners who made the event a success.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to connect and collaborate throughout the school year!
