I completed high school and some college in Venezuela; I'm a former oil engineer student. I graduated from UNCG in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
EXPERIENCE:
I worked for the Spanish immersion program at Hopewell Elementary from 2013 to 2019; I had the opportunity to work with every elementary level. Besides working in the school, I tutor all levels of Spanish, including college, and I run a successful Spanish camp for elementary students in the summer. I'm passionate about sharing my language and culture with my students. I love what I do and I repeatedly say to my students, "Español es mi pasión."
BIOGRAPHY:
I was born in Venezuela; I had the blessing to grow in a multi-cultural family. My father was an Indian immigrant with Dutch nationality, and my mother is from Colombia. I grew between two different languages, religions, and cultural customs. I'm proud of my Latino culture. I'm married, and I have two daughters. I love to recycle, nature, animals, and thrift shopping. I'm a vegetarian and a big fan of music of any genre, language, style, etc. I also love to clean, organize, and cook for my family. I also enjoy learning about other cultures.
