I graduated high school as a Dixon High School Bulldog...once a Bulldog, ALWAY a Bulldog!! I attended Coastal Carolina Community College and transferred to UNCW's teacher education program. I transferred one more time to Piedmont Bible College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible.
EXPERIENCE:
I began my teaching career before the turn of the 21st century with Asheboro City Schools. I moved to Randolph County Schools my second year of teaching. I taught elementary school (5th grade-1 year, 4th grade-5 years) for the first 6 year and have taught 6th grade ever since! The last thirteen years of my career I called Braxton Craven home and this year will be my 23rd year of teaching.
BIOGRAPHY:
I am a North Carolina native, born and bred. I grew up in Eastern NC in a tiny village, Sneads Ferry, very close to Topsail Island. I grew up as a Bulldog; from kindergarten to graduation! So I am thrilled to continue my tenure as a Bulldog! I am a Bulldog through and through!
I live in Randleman with my husband, my daughter who is a rising Sophomore at THS and our three fur babies..Piper, our dog and Bella and Molly, our two cats.
I love to talk (lol), read, and spend time with my family...I also absolutely love what I do! Once you are a student of mine, I consider you a "Franko Baby" forevermore!
